The character of the hotel truly shines with its
historical features and charming decor, which made for a delightful stay. However, I found the lack of modern amenities a bit frustrating at times, especially considering the price we paid.

Straight facts, no fluff
This historic hotel offers character, a riverside view, and excellent breakfast options. However, it suffers from outdated decor and noise issues. The staff were friendly, but the absence of elevators might be challenging for some. Overall, a decent spot to explore the surrounding area if you're looking for charm over modern comforts.

We had a lovely stay, especially enjoying our visits to the nearby downtown and the beautiful canals. The breakfast, with a variety of tasty options, was a hit with the kids. Our room was spacious and perfect for our family needs.
My kids wished for a play area to burn off energy. A small kids' zone would make it even better for families.

The garden room felt like it was plucked straight from a vintage magazine—charming but a bit outdated. Not to mention, the fridge was as cold as my ex’s sense of humor!

I enjoyed the charming décor and the cozy common areas in the hotel. The breakfast area had freshly baked croissants and a variety of organic juices. It felt special and cozy. My room was spacious with a nice view of the harbor. On the downside, the hot food selection during breakfast was limited. Although it was good, I hoped for more variety. Also, the doors in the annex made a loud bang when they closed, which was annoying at night. Not having an elevator made it challenging with luggage, especially since my room was on the second floor. Some improvements in accessibility features would be great too.
